October 3 – 5, 2014 Tornado baskeball school has organised youth basketball tournament Kaunas Cup 2014. There were 18 teams from Lithuania and foreign countries whch competed in three age groupes (2004, 2001 and 1999).

February 7-9, 2014, Euroleague Youth (U18) tournament were held at Kaunas Zalgiris Arena. Eight teams: Vilnius „Lietuvos Rytas (LTU), BBA Liudwigsburg (GER), Kiev Budivelnik (UKR), Moscow CSKA (RUS), Vladyslawowo SMS Pzkosz (POL), Prague USK Future Stars (CZE), Riga VEF (LAT) and Kauno „Žalgiris“ (LTU) try to win trip to final tour in Milan.

Kaunas „Jazz ‒ KTU“ centre forward Tomas Virvičius now will play in Kaunas d. „Tornado“ team which competes in Regional League of Basketball (RKL) A division.

January 3rd – 5th Tornado basketball school has organized annual basketball tournament „Christmas Cup 2013“ to win Kaunas district Mayors' cup. There were 34 basketball teams from Lithuania and foreign countries which competed in three age groups (boys born in 2000, 2001 and 2002).
